Privacy Policy

Central Ohio Woodturners uses your membership contact information for 2 purposes:

  1. First, and foremost, is to provide you with pertinent communications regarding club activities. You can change your email preferences by editing your profile.
  2. We will provide (at no charge) contact information to vendors for the purpose of obtaining discounts for our members. These vendors have, in turn, promised to use the provided information exclusively for that purpose; they will not contact you directly because of the information provided to them, nor will they provide that information to any other parties. You have the right to have your name excluded from any lists provided to vendors.


Additionally, appropriate information collected from the membership is, by default, made available to other members of Central Ohio Woodturners. You, as a member, can update your profile privacy settings to control who can see what parts of your profile. The audience you can select is: Public, Membership or No one. Email addresses, by default, are not shared. If you need to contact a member of the club, you can contact them using the contact form within the directory. That member can choose whether s/he wishes to reply or not; if they reply, it will be with their own email address and not through the contact form. NOTE: For purposes of club administration, officers of the club always have access to your contact information.


As a member with access to information shared with other members, you agree NOT to share information with anyone outside of Central Ohio Woodturners. If a member wants this information to be seen outside of the club, s/he can do so by editing their own profile privacy settings.
